BigStyle Media is a production company based between Dublin, London & Mayo in the West of Ireland. Their work has taken them all over the world – documenting the craftsmanship of talented artisans for the United Nations, telling the story of development charities in Kenya, and showcasing the beauty of Irish landscapes with Fáilte Ireland. They work across commercial and creative projects – one day they’re whipping up quirky ads for tech giant Square and the next they’re creating jaw-dropping music videos for global pop stars like Suki Waterhouse. No matter the project they always bring the same passion and energy to everything they do.

DIRECTORS

BigStyle Media is led by directors Ben McDonald and Rob de Boer, friends with a passion for innovative storytelling, adventure, and creative expression. The breadth of their combined skill set is what makes their partnership so unique. Both are adept at photography and cinematography, and each bring something different to the post-production process; Rob’s foundation in music composition enables him craft custom scores, while Ben’s design background gives him a flair for colour-grading and graphics. The compact size of their production operation allows them to get much closer to the story.

PRODUCER

Émilie Richard-Froozan is an Iranian-American filmmaker from New York. Her first feature film, Buttercup Bill, which she wrote and directed, premiered at the Marfa Film Festival and competed as an Official Selection at the New Orleans Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival in London, UK, and the Slingshot Athens Film Festival. It was released theatrically and digitally across
the UK & Ireland by Trinity Films and digitally in the US, UK and Ireland. Émilie is an award winning music video director as well, with numerous credits for Suki Waterhouse, Hurray For the Riff Raff, James Supercave and many others. She also produces commercial and short form documentary work for clients such as Teelings Whiskey and Fáilte Ireland Tourism. She is currently the Creative Director for pop artist, Suki Waterhouse.
